C'est la vie - France pics

Baguettes and brie for lunch - guess which country

The fireplace was great entertainment for Caelan - about 2 hours
to get it going the first time :)  Was good to dry out the house

Beautiful character building in St-Gengoux-le-National

Streetscape in the old medieval village of St-Gengoux

Church tower in St-G

Little vending stand selling fresh milk in the middle of town ???
Just in case you're caught short I guess.  Chalon-sur-Saone

Caelan was quite keen to buy some of these to share with his class
(think 13yo boy humour here)  Of course we weren't amused

Getting primed up for the shortest bike ride in history

Where's an EQC inspector when you need one. Not uncommon
though - half the building look like this

More narrow streets and alleyways in St-G

New wheels. Unfortunately it wasn't a joke

The little theme park in Le Creusot - Alyssa about to sink her boat

The roller coaster was pretty fun

Alyssa enjoyed the alpine slide

And Katriel was a menace when put in charge of (refusing to use)
the brakes on the luge

There's wine in them-there hills - near St-Gengoux

Guess what that was once

Our home sweet home in St Gengoux

In 4.5 minutes, your car will explode. Blame the truck.
Then, the giant ladybug will drown?

Little miniature museum in Lyon.  This whole scene was actually
only about 30cm across

Another display in the miniature museum.  678 branch tree cut out of
a piece of paper smaller than a 1 cent coin.  With scissors, by hand.
An enormously clever, if pointless, skill.
